Question: What is the meaning of Tabaqaat Al-Ashareeyah (translated to mean ten levels) with the Muhaditheen?
Shaykh Saleh: The meaning is that this person was on a Madhab for ten years.

Question: A man did Zina with a woman and they had a child, does the man have a relationship with the child and does the child need to tie the bonds of kinship
Shaykh Saleh: No, this man has no relationship with the child as the child is not his because the child is a produce of something Haraam. There are no ties of kinship and the child is attributed to the mother, nothing to do with the father.
Question: But does the child obey the father?
Shaykh Saleh: No, there is no relationship....however if the child is attributed to the father for the sake of identification or for an Iqama (permanent residency in Saudi Arabia) then there is no harm in this.
