Hadeeth Jibreel: The first Hadeeth in Saheeh Muslim is
about denying Qadr
-He quotes al-Khattaabi in stating that al-Qadaa and al-Qadr
is not Jabr and not denying Qadr, rather it is connected to the Ilm of Allaah
and His Ability.
-Qadaa can be Khalq, as in the Aayah:
"Then He completed and finished from their creation" [al-Fussillat: 12]
-Nawawi states that there are many statements which affirm
that if the person doesn’t believe in Qada or Qadr then his deeds are nullified
and he has no rewards for doing them.
-Mutazilah use Hadeeth
with "Laysa Minaa" to mean that there is no al-Emaan if one does major sins, Amr bin Ubayd said.
- Ma'bad al-Juhanee (80AH)
first called to Qadr and Amr bin 'Ubayd was effected and was killed with a slow
death in prison by al-Hajjaj (140AH)
-Nawawi said that the slave woman will give birth to her master
means that there will be a lot of slavery and she will be bought and sold back
to her child.
It could also mean that the child is free whilst she isn't.
[TN:
but none said it refers to increase in incest]
-The signs mentioned don't carry a particular ruling, rather
they are all description such as increase in killing and Riba etc.
-Hadeeth No.6 states they will shepard of immature cattle, thus their wealth is insignificant.
-Hadeeth No.7 describes the nomads as "deaf and dumb
becoming kings of the earth", meaning they are ignorant and don't benefit
from what they are given.
