“Whosoever desires (with his deeds) the reward of the Hereafter,
We give him increase in his reward, and whosoever desires the reward of this
world (with his deeds), We give him thereof (what is written for him), and he
has no portion in the Hereafter.” [42:20]This is in relation to those who don’t believe in the Hereafter. As for the believer who does deeds for the Aakhirah but has weakness in the Dunyaa, then they are not prevented in totality in the Hereafter.
Surah az-Zukhruf
“Say (O Muhammad ):
"If the Most Beneficent (Allah) had a son, then I am the first of Allah's
worshippers [who deny and refute this claim of yours (and the first to believe
in Allah Alone and testify that He has no children)]." [Tafsir
At-Tabari].” [43:81]This Aayah has many different interpretations but the simplest manner to understand it is that “If the Most Beneficent (Allah) had a son” means as you suppose.
