How to Benefit from Ramadhaan (6) - as- Sadaqah: Say (to the disbelievers): "If you possessed the treasure of the Mercy of my Lord (wealth, money, provision, etc.), then you would surely hold back (from spending) for fear of (being exhausted), and man is ever miserly!" (17:100)
as-Sadaqah is called Sadaqah because of the Sidq (truthfulness) in ones heart. The more one increases in Sidq the more Sadaqah they will donate. Despite his love for his wealth, he gives for the sake of Allaah seeking his pleasure and in assisting his religion.
