How to Benefit from Ramadan (15) - Protection Against Technological Warfare: Khaalid bin Waleed [may Allaah be Pleased with him] was sent on an expedition to destroy the idol known as 'Uzzah, in the month of Ramadhaan (8AH). It was a tree that the Quraysh used to worship and was the greatest of the idols that they revered. When Khaalid arrived to terminate this idol, he found a naked black woman, with braided hair, until Khaalid assassinated her. There are similar accounts narrated in the Seerah also, with 'Amr bin Sa'd and Sa'd bin Zayd.

TN: The very advancements we think we are making, mankind are reverting back to pre-Islamic ignorant characteristics. Addiction to technology has led to many exposing themselves and their families to listening to the callers of Shirk and all other types of immoralities in their lyrics. They even watch them perform Shaytanic rituals in their videos and concerts. Naked women are revered and even taken as gods besides Allaah in the mass media today. However, this noble religion came to purify the lands from such heresies, just like what the Prophet sent Khaalid to do. So now is the time for the Muslims to repent and return to al-Gahfoor, al-Wadood.
