-Impurities
are not removed by Istihaalah.
Al-Uthaymeen
explains that al-Istihaalah is to change a state of something to another state
(impure to pure or visa versa).
For
example, if animal feces turned in fertilizer then this doesn't become pure as
the very essence of the thing is impure and anything connected to it is also
impure.
The
impurities must be washed. This is the view of the Hanablee Madhab.
The only exception
they make are from the following:
-If alcohol turns into vinegar by
itself.
-If a fetus turns into a pure
animal.
Al-Uthaymeen
states that these exceptions are not necessary, because alcohol in itself isn't impure (rather it is Haram to drink but not impure to touch).
As for the
second exception then the fetus in the womb has no ruling connected to it until
it is born. Its like saying urine is Najis whilst inside the body and outside
of it, however whatever is inside the body carries no ruling.
So if a
person prays and wants to go to urinate his Salat is correct, but is only
nullified if something comes out of him.
Thus,
something impure can become pure if it changes in its state with Uthaymeen.
