On the authority of Ibn Mas’ood [may Allaah be Pleased with him] who
said that the Messenger of Allaah [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be upon him]
said:
The closest to me (or meaning have the greatest right for his intercession)
on the Day of Judgement are those who send the most Peace and Blessings upon
me.
[Reported by at-Tirmidhee (484) and classed as Hasan by al-Albaanee in
Saheeh at-Targheeb (1668)]
