Points of Benefits from
The Call to The Islamic Faith
by
Imam as-Sa’di
Notes based on commentary
of
Shaykh Saaleh bin Sa'd as-Suhaymi
(Allah Preserve him)
2-Success is in bringing about good practice and preventing and advising against bad ones.
3-Any small amount of good that comes about from it will be something they will be pleased about on the Day of Judgement.
4-It applies to all times and places; hence the very nature of this act of worship puts out falsehood.
5-Through it, the correct representation of Islam is established and the reoccurring doubts and thoughts of Shayateen are refuted.
6-The Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) was sent to the falsehood of the people of Shirk in Jahiliyyah and the People of the Book, yet he was not found to have bad manners with them (Da’wah through actions). He was consistent and had no contradictions - this is proof that he came with the truth.
7-Allah, the Most High, allowed for him to be tested by them and he was tested with the most secretive of tests. However, his manners and Subr with them was Da’wah in itself, as he never comprised his message or his manners or his approach.
8-The ones that listened to his call (Peace be upon him) became the leaders of the call (may Allah be Pleased with them all). They developed like no other group of people haved developed.
9-Had any of the previous points (no. 6-8) been untrue, the people who rejected him would have used it against him in his call. However, this has never been contested. Thus, in in his character - they tacitly admit the truth of the call that he came with.
10-The people he was sent to had no previous nurturing, so the fact that he (Peace be upon him) called them and created knowledgeable and wise pious scholars which suppressed the rank of kings and ministers, is proof that the Da’wah of Islam came with the truth.
And Allah Knows best
