The Soofees are an Ignorant People

Follow @AhleDhikr Imaam Ibn Jawzee [may Allaah have Mercy on him] said about the Soofees and their lack of knowledge:

Know! The biggest form of deception that Iblees deceives the people by is to deter them from knowledge. Knowledge is light, and when that light has been extinguished then Iblees spreads his message in darkness and plays with them as much as he pleases.

This is what has happened to the Soofees, they have been prevented from knowledge and he has made it seem that knowledge involves one overly exerting himself, so he has opened the doors relaxation, whilst they sit on the mat of idleness (as they do in their gatherings).
