For this reason the Prophet [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be upon
him] has been commanded to accompany and gather with only those who will bring
him closer to Allaah, the Most High. This is the case even if they are lower
class in status or physically weak in stature. This is where the true benefit
lies. They remind each other of the Aakhirah and even at times, they are in a
position to give beneficial advice regard the matters of the Dunyaa.
The Prophet [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Do
you gain divine assistance and gain sustenance and provisions from Allaah,
except through the presence of the weak and poor among your?[1]”
