On the authority of 'Abdallah ibn Abee Awfaa [may Allaah be Pleased with him] that the Messenger of Allaah [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be upon him] used:
Be plentiful in Dhikr of Allaah, reduce idle-speech, lengthen as-Salaat, shorten the Khutbah, was never to proud to walk with widows and the weak and he always used to fulfill the needs of others.
[Reported by an-Nasaa'ee (1413) and classed as Saheeh by al-Albanee]
