Finished your Rituals with the Words of Tawheed and Istighfaar

Hasan al-Basree [May Allaah have Mercy on him] said, “Increase in asking for Allaah’s forgiveness because you don’t know when the Mercy of Allaah will fall upon you.”
Luqmaan the wise, told his son, “Oh son! Repeat Istigfaar upon your tongue, because there are hours in which Allaah doesn’t deny the person who asks.”
Allaah, the Most High, also combines the statement of Tawheed and the advice on being steadfast in asking for Istighfaar.

Eclipse: "If You See A Natural Disaster, then Prostrate" [Aboo Dawood (1198)]

1. I swear by the Day of Resurrection;

2. And I swear by the self-reproaching person (a believer).

3. Does man (a disbeliever) think that We shall not assemble his bones?

4. Yes, We are Able to put together in perfect order the tips of his fingers.

5. Nay! (Man denies Resurrection and Reckoning. So) he desires to continue committing sins.

6. He asks: "When will be this Day of Resurrection?"they ask whilst actually belying in it.

7. So, when the sight shall be dazed: Qataadah and Muqaatil said this means that the sight of man on that Day will not believe what they see, something which they disbelieved would happen.

8. And the moon will be eclipsed: its light will be dispelled.

9. And the sun and moon will be joined togetherthey will be folded up together and their lights disappeared. Once they have been destroyed, they both will be pelted into the sea and then set alight, becoming two huge masses of fire.

10. On that Day man will say: "Where (is the refuge) to flee?"

11. No! There is no refuge!

12. Unto your Lord (Alone) will be the place of rest that Day.

13. On that Day man will be informed of what he sent forward (of his evil or good deeds), and what he left behind (of his good or evil traditions).

[Mukhtasar Ma’aalim at-Tanzeel of Imaam al-Baghawee [May Allaah have Mercy on him] (Pg. 989) - Surah al-Qiyaamah]

Makkah Imaam on Those Who Spread Negativity in What Befalls the Believers

The Noble Shaykh Saaleh bin Muhammad aal at-Taalib [may Allaah Preserve him]
Imaam and Khateeb in Masjid al-Haram, Makkah

All Praises are due for Allaah, the Lord of the creation. Ar-Rahmaan, ar-Raheem. Master of the Day of Judgement.

I bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship except Allaah, having no partners, for Him is the Dominion, the Lord of Clear Truth.

I bear witness that Muhammad is His Slave and Messenger, the truthful and trustworthy one. May the Peace and Blessings of Allaah be upon him, his family, and all of his Companions.

To proceed:

Surely, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with its men, its resources and its establishments, have put forth an enormous effort in order to cater for the needs of the Pilgrims – those coming to preform Hajj, ‘Umrah and visiting of religious landmarks. For decades this country anticipates the season of Hajj with a generous budget and employment of increased manpower, an exertion that any country would be proud of. None of this can be belittled nor negated in the event of an accident caused by overcrowding, or the accidental pushing of some of the pilgrims or the decision of some of the pilgrims to violate governmental guidelines and instructions.

It may be that such accidents occur, not due to the oversight of the authorities, rather it be that Allaah, the Most High, has Decreed that He has Chosen for some of His Slaves to be taken as martyrs, taken in the best possible situation – in a virtuous place, whilst others sustaining injuries in which they may be heavily rewarded in enduring.

Based on all of this, blaming the authorities who have put forth such an endeavor and have exceeded in its accomplishments is not acceptable. All of this just leads to resentment and others boastfully claiming a supposed superior degree of skillfulness.

The implications of such negativity include a negation of reward for those who have been afflicted. Rather those who busy themselves in criticizing, only criticize with a worldly objective or in order to take advantage of some political gain.

The Kingdom - and all Praises are due to Allaah - is more than able to manage the annual Hajj, without any need for assistance. It has been blessed by Allaah with a sovereignty that is led by the Custodian of the Two Noble Masjids. Its constitution is founded with the objective of governing under a Devine directive. The produce of such foundations has effected and continues to affect the two Holy Masjids.

For instance, Allaah has Surrounded His House and His Slaves with peace and serenity during times in which the world is experiencing an increase intensity of chaos and disruption and being burnt from the fire of tribulations and war.

And all Praises are due to Allaah, the One Who has enabled the truthful ones from His Slaves to protect His Religion and His Sanctified City. And by them, the Muslims and the lands are in turn protected.

Have they not seen that We have made (Makkah) a sanctuary secure, and that men are being snatched away from all around them? Then do they believe in falsehood and become ingrate for the Graces of Allah?” [al-‘Ankaboot 29: 67]

Likewise we thank Allaah for His Bounty upon us in enabling us to complete the Hajj, catering for hundreds and thousands of pilgrims. Surely, we are saddened by the accidents that occurred yesterday (10/12/1436 - 24/9/15), a Decree of Allaah that effected some of the pilgrims - an incident which caused an unfortunate stampede in Minaa; but with this, we do not say anything except that Pleases our Lord, without gaining His Anger or displeasure in His Decree.

It is imperative that we investigate the causes so that such accidents do not reoccur. Those who were negligent must be immediately held to account, so that the efforts of the hundreds within the task force are not undermined. They are those who have given all in order to serve the Guests of ar-Rahmaan and have shown extreme kindness to the pilgrims, being with them in every step of the Hajj. They have made the pathways safe to cross, they navigated the crowds, treated the sick, given direction to the lost, gave religious guidance to the ignorant, fed the hungry, quenched the thirsty and been of serviced to the helpless. These are those who have been at the forefront of appeasing the desperation of the pilgrims, thus being deserved of recognition, commendation and our supplication and beseechment to Allaah, the Glorified and the Exalted, for them. Their hard work is not hidden and most of it is clear for the people to witness. So may Allaah reward them and multiply their recompense.

From the corruption of the adversary is that they use accidents and tribulations that befall the people, in a chance and an opportunity to raise doubts. They use it as propaganda to belittle the hard efforts of others.

The whole world is witness to the remarkable endeavors and the substantial budget set aside for the Hajj. The Guests of ar-Rahmaan have been welcomed with by the organizers and the general public alike.

However, they behave in this manner because in the absence of shame, morals cease to exist and one is led to act however he pleases. From the bitterest forms of satire is that they use the pilgrims and martyrs as pawns to lament their objective.

Meanwhile, their history is full of atrocities committed within the Haram! They bombarded the Haram in Makkah, killed its worshippers and used explosives within the Haram itself. Despite being a holy sanctuary, they brought within it weapons, casted horror into the hearts of the pilgrims, and even threatened to take their lives and possessions. All of this to fulfill their ghastly objective - to try to prevent the people from performing the pilgrimage safely[1].

What is strange is now they want to create manufactured tears in the name of the victims of these accidents.

They display eagerness in protecting the blood of the pilgrims, despite the fact that they have funded tens of militia in Iraq, Yemen and Syria in order to kill thousands of innocent Muslims. They have driven out millions from their homes, and have gathered for themselves heavy artillery which they have now spread throughout the lands of the Muslims in order to kill them.

They have instilled hate into the hearts of those who have been deceived by them.

May Allaah Protect the Muslims from the evil of these people, and guide those who have been led astray and deluded by them.

They are those who dance in the event of killing and injury, and are at the forefront of displaying joy and happiness when such incidents occur. They drop on the Muslims the veil of at-Taqiyyah[2], using it as propaganda to spread their doubts.

Clear daylight is surely visible for those who see with both eyes[3], and those who have been given by Allaah the ability to fairly analyze the truth from falsehood.

They scream desperately and their objectives are exposed. As every day goes by, they do not increase except in disgrace. No accident takes place except that they show mischief. Whenever something bad befalls the Muslims, they always welcome it with happiness and delight. They want sorrow to spread amongst the Arab lands and the Muslims as they want you to be suppressed.

[Khutbah entitled Fadl al-Ayaam al-Ma’doodaat, 11/12/1436 – 25/9/2015]

[1] The Shaykh is referring to the attempted-hijacking of the Haram by Iran-led Shia’s in 1987. This began as a Shia protest but a confrontation with the Saudi authorities led to a stampede which killed over 400 people and injured thousands. Even more despicable is the action of the Qaraamitah (commonly known as Ismaeeli’s today), a Shia sect that stemmed from Koofah in 317AH. Its leader was a man named Sulaymaan bin al-Hasan al-Qarmitee that took over the Haram and killed the Hujjaaj whilst they were performing Tawaaf. They threw the dead bodies in the well of Zamzam and corrupted its water. But before that, on the eight day of Hajj they slaughtered the masses in Minaa on the 8th of Dhu al-Hijjah (the first day of Hajj) and called this an act of sacrifice. As they left, they stole the black stone and took it with them to Koofah. As the stone was being liberated by the following Caliphate that took power, they refused a hand over the stone and opted to smash the stone into pieces instead. [see al-Bidaayah 37/15-39]
[3] A simile given by many of the scholars in reference to ad-Dajjaal. He is the impostor and only sees with one eye, as for the Muwaahid, he is able to see clearly with two eyes and is able to decipher the truth from falsehood by it. [TN]

Fasting the Day of 'Arafah

On the authority of Aboo Qataadah (May Allaah be Pleased with him) that the Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allaah be upon him) was asked,"What is your view on fasting the day of 'Arafah?" He replied,"I hope that Allaah Will Expiate sins for the previous and forthcoming year." The man then said,"Oh Messenger of Allaah! What is your view on fasting the day of 'Aashoora?" He replied,"I hope that Allaah Expiates sins for the previous year."

It is narrated on the authority of Zayd bin Arqam (May Allaah be Pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (Peace and Blessings of Allaah be upon him) was asked about fasting the day of 'Arafah and he said,"It expiates sins for the year you are in and the forthcoming year."

It is heavily emphasised to fast on the 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah for the one who isnt preforming the Hajj. The day of 'Arafah is the 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah and it is the most emphasised day from the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah. This is because the Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allaah be upon him) was asked about fasting the day of 'Arafah and he (Peace and Blessings of Allaah be upon him) said,"I hope that Allaah Will Expiate sins for the previous and forthcoming year." Based on this, it is even more emphasised to fast the day of 'Arafah than the day of 'Aashoora because the Prophet only mentioned one year of expiation (for the day of 'Aashoora).

Takbeeraat Start after Fajr on the Day of 'Arafah and after Dhuhr on the Day of Nahr for the Pilgrim

The scholars stated that doing the Takbeer is generally prescribed and encourage for us to do during the whole duration of the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah. As for the specific times, the Takbeer is to be done after every obligatory prayer. This begins after the Fajr prayer on the Day of ‘Arafah[47][48]up until the ‘Asr prayer on completion of the Days of Tashreeq[48][49].

Al-Qaadee Aboo Ya’laa said, “The Takbeer at this time is of two types, that which is general and that which is specific. The specific time when we should do the Takbeer is after every obligatory prayer. As for the general recommendation to the Takbeer then this is throughout the days no matter where he is such as when he goes to the market” [49][50]

It is important to point out, that these rules are for those who are not doing the pilgrimage of Hajj. Imaam Ahmad said when explaining this further, “This is in regard to the people who staying in their homes. As for the people who are travelling to pilgrimage then these people should do the Takbeer after the Dhuhr prayer on the Day of Sacrifice[50][51], this is because prior to this they are doing the acts and rituals of Hajj and are busy doing the Talbiyyah[51][52]instead. This is the ruling that has been given by Sufyaan ibn ‘Uyaynah and he explained it further to be the correct opinion.[52][53]”

The evidence that the scholars gave for this was the numerous narrations that have been narrated by the Companions [May Allaah be Pleased with them all] about this. They would specifically recite the Takbeer after the Fajr prayer on the Day of ‘Arafah, however in a general sense they would increase in doing the Takbeer throughout the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah. Therefore the actions of the Companions explain that the Takbeer is of a general and specific type.

The Guests of ar-Rahmaan

It is narrated on the authority of Ibn 'Umar (May Allaah be Pleased with him and his father) that the Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allaah be upon him) said,

"The pilgrim doing Hajj or 'Umrah are from the guests of Allaah. They supplicate to Him and He Answers them and anything they ask for, He Gives to them."

Ihram: A Symbol of Humility and Submissiveness to The Creator

Ibn al-Qayyim [May Allaah have Mercy on him] said in his poem al-Meemiyyah (verse 28):

They have exposed their heads out of humility
Out of humility for the One they are facing and submitting to

Shaykh Muhammad bin Saaleh al-‘Uthaymeen [May Allaah have Mercy on him] said in explanation:

“They expose their heads during the Ihraam out of humility to Allaah, the Exalted and the Glorified. This is something well known until our times today; that a person, if he wants to show respect and humility towards another person, they take off their head-wear. Soldiers take off their head-wear when they are presented in front of someone they want to respect and honour. Likewise, the Soofees take of their head-wear when they are in front of their scholars, those who are presumed to be from the friends of Allaah. However, taking off ones head-wear to show respect to a person one may meet is from the customs of the people (thus it has no Islaamic ruling to it). The one who has humility to Allaah, the Glorified and the Exalted, means that they submit and are humble towards Him, as He, the Most High, says: “And (all) faces shall be humbled before (Allah), the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. And he who carried (a burden of) wrongdoing (i.e. he who disbelieved in Allah, ascribed partners to Him, and did deeds of His disobedience), became indeed a complete failure (on that Day)” [Taa-haa 20:11]. It is almost impossible to find someone from those who have been prevented to have humility and submissiveness with Allaah, that they uncover their heads out of humility to Allaah, the Glorified and the Exalted (i.e. they find it difficult to show humility and submissiveness to Allaah). If it wasn't for the fact that the whole of the woman is sacred for one to look at (‘Awrah) then it would be upon her to uncover her head out of honour to Allaah as well, however she (totally) remains an ‘Awrah (covered) for men thus she must remain covered. End quote. [Sharh al-Qaseedah al-Meemiyyah (pg. 25)]

Sinning in Makkah is Worse than Anywhere Else

Ibn al-Qayyim [May Allaah have Mercy on him] said:
From the things that are exclusive to Makkah is that sinning within it is worse than anywhere else, even if one merely intended to do something bad. Allaah, the Most High, says:

And whoever inclines to evil actions therein or to do wrong (i.e. practise polytheism and leave Islamic Monotheism), him We shall cause to taste a painful torment. [Hajj 22:25]
Think about this Aayah, how the preposition ‘Ba’ has been connected to the word ‘Dhulm’ and He did not say, ‘whoever intends’ rather it has been connected to the verb, ‘Dhulm’ so the meaning changes to having the mere interest in doing a sin. So be warned, that even intending to a sin in Makkah can carry a great punishment.

The Reward for an Accepted Hajj is Nothing but Jannah

It is reported on the authority of Ibn Ma’sood [may Allaah be Pleased with him] that he said that the Messenger of Allaah [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be upon him] said,

“Follow one Hajj after another and follow one ‘Umrah after another - because they both nullify poverty and sins like the bellow of the blacksmith destroys iron, silver and gold.  And the reward for an accepted Hajj is nothing but Jannah.”

[Reported by at-Tirmidhee (738); an-Nas’aaee (2584) and classed as Saheeh by al-Albaanee in Saheeh al-Jaami’ (2901)]

“Follow one Hajj after another and follow one ‘Umrah after another”: at-Teebee [may Allaah have Mercy on him] said, “This means, if one of you does Hajj, then make ‘Umrah. If one makes ‘Umrah, then make Hajj (i.e. a continual cycle of pilgrimage).”

“…nullify poverty and sins…”: This includes physical poverty as well as the metaphorical form of poverty – giving enrichment of the heart.

“And the reward for an accepted Hajj is nothing but Jannah”: It is said this refers to an accepted pilgrimage which is defined as a pilgrimage which doesn’t involve any sin, this was stated by an-Nawawee and something similar was stated by al-Qurtubee and as-Suyootee.

There is No Talbiyyah or Takbeer Except With Glad Tidings

It is narrated on the authority of Aboo Hurayrah [may Allaah be Pleased with him] that the Prophet [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be upon him] said,

"The pilgrim does not make at-Talbiyyah, except that he is given glad tidings. And there is no person who says Allaahu Akbar, exalting His Name (and raising his voice with them both) except that he is given glad tidings ." It was asked, "Glad tidings of Jannah, O Messenger of Allaah?" He replied, "Yes."

[Reported by at-Tabaraanee in Mu'jam al-Awsat (7779) and classed as Hasan in as-Silsilah as-Saheehah by al-Albaanee (1621)]

In another narration, "The pilgrim does not make Tasbeeh (سبحان الله) nor Takbeer (الله اكبر) except that with every Tasbeeh and Takbeer he is given a glad tidings." [at-Tabaraanee in Mu'jam al-Awsat (5451)]

A Sign of a Good End Depends on the Final Deed of the Person: Dying in Whilst Worship is Cause to Enter Jannah

On the authority of Sahl bin Sa’d [may Allaah be Pleased with him] said that the Prophet [Peace and Blessings be upon him] said, “Verily, all actions are judged by the final ones.” [Reported by al-Bukhaaree (6607)]
Al-Haafidh ‘Abdul-Haqq ash-Shabeelee [may Allaah have Mercy on him] said:
Know! That a sign of a bad end – may Allaah protect us from such – will not afflict someone where his outer-deeds are steadfast and his inner-self (i.e. thoughts, intentions and acts of worship of the heart) is pure.
A sign of a bad end is where a person’s intellect is corrupt and his inner-self has firm intention to commit major sins and translate such intentions into his actions.
It may be that a person has these intentions right up until the point of death, and then he repents before his life is taken, in which case the person will be rewarded. In such a case, it could be that the Shaytaan distracts and seeks to delay the Tawbah of such a person up until the final point of his life, he repents, and thus is taken in this state (i.e. of repentance).
[The Final End and Remembering Death (Pg. 178)]
It is narrated on the authority of Hudhayfah [may Allaah be Pleased with him] that the Prophet [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Whoever fasts a day, seeking by it the Face of Allaah, and dies in such a state – will enter Jannah.”
[Ahmad (22235) and classed as Saheeh li Ghayrihi by al-Arna’oot]
In a similar narration reported by Muslim (5126), “Every slave will be resurrected doing what he did when he died.”

Ibn Jawzee [may Allaah have Mercy on him] said, “The person will be raised in the state he died upon – his final deed will be the deed that he is resurrected doing.” [Kashf al-Muskhil fi Hadeeth as-Saheehayn (1/751)]

It is Not the Land That Makes People Pious

It is reported that Aboo Dardaa’ wrote to Salmaan al-Farsee [may Allaah be Pleased with them both] in advice as he travelled to Palestine, “You have become pious as you have entered a holy land.” To which Salmaan wrote back in reply, “It is not the land that makes people pious, rather it’s the deeds of a person that makes him pious.”
Reported by Maalik in his Muwatta’ (2/235)
Shaykh ‘Abdul-Kareem al-Khudayr [may Allaah Preserve him], Member of Panel of Senior Scholars in Ssudi Arabia, said in explanation:
Abu Dardaa was a dear friend of his and this friendship remained strong even after Salmaan left, and this was the advice he had for him; that the land a person lives in (or dies in) doesn’t necessarily benefit a person or make him pious. Some people seek to move to a virtuous place to live and die in. Some even travel to a grave of a pious saint to fulfill this aim. However, none of this will benefit a person if his deeds are not pious.

[Sharh al-Muwatta’: Kitaab al-Waseeyah]

Statements Uttered When Faced With a Calamity or News of Death

Shaykh Muhammad bin Saaleh al-‘Uthaymeen [may Allaah have Mercy on him] said:

We hear many people saying statements and they don’t even realize its implications:

When a person passes away, we often hear people claiming that “Such and such person has gone to heaven”. Such a statement is actually Kufr as it implies that the person will not be resurrected; that they have passed away and gone either to Jannah or to Jahannam.

Most people don’t realize that such a statement has such implications; rather they offer such condolences by imitating the Kuffaar (therefore it is a sin to utter such statements even if they don’t intend to deny the Resurrection).

[Sharh al-‘Aqeedah as-Safaareeniyyah (Pg. 492)]

Hajj begins with al-Ikhlaas and at-Taqwaa

Surah al-Hajj begins with the order for us to have at-Taqwa, Allaah, the Most High, says:

O mankind! Fear your Lord and be dutiful to Him! Verily, the earthquake of the Hour (of Judgement) is a terrible thing.
[al-Hajj 22:1]

Taqwa is to make a shield between you and the punishment of Allaah, to stay away from what Allaah has prohibited you from and to act upon all the various forms of good deeds, this is Taqwaa. And by having Taqwa one obtains goodness and assistance, so, for example, if someone wants knowledge then he needs to have Taqwa.

Fear Allah; and Allah teaches you
[al-Baqarah 2:282]

If someone wants provision;

And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine.
[at-Talaaq 65:2-3]

So all acts of worship are made specific with at-Taqwa, so Taqwa means to do what you are commanded and stay away from prohibitions.

Verily, As-Salat (the prayer) prevents from Al-Fahsha' (i.e. great sins of every kind, unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.) and Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil wicked deed, etc.)
[Al-Ankaboot 29:45]

And, Allaah, the Most High, says about fasting;

Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqun
[al-Baqarah 2:183]
And, Allaah, the Most High, says;
But whosoever hastens to leave in two days, there is no sin on him and whosoever stays on, there is no sin on him, if his aim is to do good and obey Allah (fear Him)
[al-Baqarah 2:203]

So attaining Taqwa is the goal and it is the advice of Allah, the Most High, for those nations that were sent in the before and the latter ones

Preparing for Hajj

It is narrated on the authority of Aboo Hurayrah [May Allaah be Pleased with him] that the Messenger of Allaah [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be Upon him] said, “If the pilgrim departs to perform his Hajj, spending from the best of his wealth and then places his foot on his saddle. Then he proclaims ‘لبيك اللهم لبيك ‘ (Oh Allaah! I am at Your Service, I am at Your Service). Then a caller calls out from the heavens saying, ‘At your service and your pleasure! Your provisions are Halaal and your transportation is Halaal. Your Hajj will be accepted and you will not be sinful in it.’ And if the pilgrim sets out with the worst of his wealth and then places his foot on his saddle and then proclaims, ‘لبيك’ (at Your Service). A caller calls out from the heavens saying, ‘At your service but not at your pleasure. Your provision is Haraam and your transportation is Haraam. Your Hajj is sinful and not accepted.’” [Narrated by at-Tabaraanee]

...

It is also obligatory upon those who want to perform the Hajj to repent and turn to Allaah from all the sins (they may have committed). If one has (ever) oppresses someone then he must go back to them and seek their forgiveness. This is because one must proceed his Hajj with sincere Tawbah from all forms of oppression. It is also obligatory (for the pilgrim) to abstain from any sins or acts of disobedience and that he must preserve his five daily prayers as well as all the other obligations upon him. This is something that is obligatory upon the pilgrim in every aspect of his life however it is even more so during his performance of this great act of worship. So it is absolutely necessary that one doesn’t enter into it (the Hajj) with any form of sin or disobedience connected to him, or whilst he is sinning or disobeying during the Hajj. Allaah, the Most High, says:

So whosoever intends to perform Hajj therein by assuming Ihram), then he should not have sexual relations (with his wife), nor commit sin, nor dispute unjustly during the Hajj. And whatever good you do, (be sure) Allah knows it. And take a provision (with you) for the journey, but the best provision is At-Taqwa (piety, righteousness, etc.). So fear Me, O men of understanding!” [al-Baqarah 2:197]

...

And perform properly (i.e. all the ceremonies according to the ways of Prophet Muhammad), the Hajj and 'Umrah (i.e. the pilgrimage to Makkah) for Allah” [al-Baqarah 2:196]

Completing the Hajj means that one complete the rituals in the manner it has been legislated.
The wording, ‘For Allaah’: means that one should be sincere in his intention, one worshipping Him Alone without falling into major or minor shirk. (It also means that) there should be no showing-off, seeking of reputation, pride, arrogance or self-importance. One should be humble is Hajj. For indeed the Prophet [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be Upon him] (performed the Hajj) and his cloak wasn’t even worth four dirhams (approx. £2), (despite this) he said, “Oh Allaah! Make it a Hajj without showing-off nor  reputation.”

Ruling on Doing Hajj Without a Permit [Tasreeh]

Shaykh Saaleh bin Fawzaan al-Fawzaan [May Allaah have Mercy on him] was asked:
Some of the students of knowledge do Hajj without a permit [Tasreeh], is this action permitted?

Answer: This action is breaking the law and these people are responsible for their actions but their Hajj is correct if they completed the pillars and obligatory actions from it, but they have the sin of breaking the law of the ruler.
