This is a new series in which extracts from the lecture entitled, "The Distresses of Wealth" delivered by our noble mentor and Shaykh, Shaykh Sa'd bin Naasir ash-Shathree [may Allaah Preserve him and his father] will be posted.
Globally, Muslims are being challenged by their wealth and the enemies of Allaah from the man and Shayaateen are using it to distract and wrestle with the religious commitment of the Ummah. Hence, there is an increased need for this topic in which the Shaykh gives a degree of different perspectives to the Muslims' approach to wealth and in illustrating the transiency of this Dunyaa.
I ask Allaah, the Most High, to make this beneficial for ourselves and place the benefits found within it upon the scales of good deeds for the Shaykh, on a day in which no wealth nor child will avail another.
