Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 93: Judgements

Chapter 10: Issuing Judgements and Religious Whilst it on the Road Yahya bin Ya'mar used to offer judgements whilst on the road. ash-Sha'bi used to give judgements at the door of his home. 7153 - Narrated Anas bin Malik: While the Prophet (ﷺ) and I were coming out of the mosque, a man met us outside the gate. The man said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! When will be the Hour?" The Prophet (ﷺ) asked him, "What have you prepared for it?" The man became afraid and ashamed and then said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! I haven't prepared for it much of fasts, prayers or charitable gifts but I love Allah and His Apostle." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You will be with the one whom you love."

Ibn Hajar states in Fath al-Bari: Ash-hab said, "There is no harm in giving religious verdicts (and advice whilst walking) if it doesn't deter from the understanding." Suhnoon said, "It is not befitting" Ibn Habeeb said, "There is no harm if it is slight but something complex is not allowed." Ibn Battal said, "It is good" Ibn Hajar concluded, "What Ash-hab said is closest to the evidence" And Allah Knows best

My advice to my brothers about their usage of the internet or when watching television is to fear Allah in their innerselves. They nust realise that they have not been created for this rather they have been created for the purpose of worshipping Allah, the Exalted and Glorified.

And if they continue to degrade themselves to that of the habit of animals by only seeking to fulfil whatever they desire and whim – then they have lost the Dunya and the Akhirah, may Allah protect us.

So it is upon the Muslims to protect their religion, to preserve the usage of their time and not to let thier life which is priceless, priceless, priceless escape them.

Q: Some of the deceased that are washed as a result of a car accident are then placed in a plastic bag to make sure that blood doesn’t spoil the shroud?

A: There is no harm in placing something over an injury to withhold it.

al-Humayd: We Use Our Phones to Follow the Free-Time of Others

We – Snapchat users – pay attention, I was astounded by this a great deal. One of its users said, “We fill our own time by following the free-time of others and the nonsense of the immature…”

This is true, by Allah, the Supreme.

Why?

Because most of the content you find on it (and their phones and platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter etc.) is devoid of anything beneficial.

Of course, you have some content on these platforms which are beneficial [1], however most of what is recorded are recorded in places of no benefit (such as coffee shops, restaurants, parties, things that kill time, stories, pranks, jokes etc.).  

So where is the problem?

The problem is that the followers of these platforms feel that they are following something that is worthy of being followed.

They feel that this is (the essence of) life.

But the opposite, it curbs life. It curbs life in every single manner – such behaviour doesn’t bring a positive impact in the slightest.

However, it could be that it is still blameworthy and such a state is disliked by the scholars. Rather, the scholars used to abhor that a person doesn’t spend his time in doing something which is of no benefit, not benefitting life or the afterlife – because (time that is not filled with something useful) is a passing (of time) which he has not used to gain anything by it.” End quote from al-Muwaafaqaat (1-204/205).

Ash-Shathri: The Salaf Closed the Masjid as a Way to Lift the Pandemic

Follow @AhleDhikr This was the same approach taken by the Companions (Allah be Pleased with them) during the time of Umar bin al-Khattab (Allah be Pleased with him) when the plague of Amwas afflicted them in Sham where a large number of people were afflicted and it resulted in a lot difficulties. Amr bin al-'As (Allah be Pleased with him) was made responsible and he commanded that the populous leave the urban living area and move into the valleys and the mountains. As a result of this, the Salat in the Masjid were forfeited and likewise Salat al-Jumuah. They took this action as a way to repel the pandemic - with the Permission of Allah, the Glorifed and Exalted -. This then reached the leader of the believers Umar bin al-Khattab (Allah be Pleased with him), and he didn't disapprove of the action and he didn’t reject it either. Rather, he approved of these measures and this was one of the approaches they took to have the pandemic lifted.

al-Fawzan: Look for an Imam and Khateeb who is proficient

Follow @AhleDhikr Q: This question is from UK; There is a Khateeb in our country, his Arabic isn't good and his Quran isn't good either (he delivers the Khutbah in English) and even when he qoutes evidences it's not in Arabic, because he fears making a mistake. The topic of his Khutbahs are mostly on refutations and talking about particular people by name,  

What's your advice about such a Khateeb in our land?

A: Look for a different Imam - Al-Humdulilah - today ther are plenty who can deliver the Khutbah and have memorised the Quran in every place. Look for an Imam and Khateeb who is proficient.

Chapter: The Last of the people of the Fire to be brought out of it

Abdullah b. Mas'ud reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

I know the last of the inhabitants of Fire to be taken out therefrom, and the last of the inhabitants of Paradise to enter it. A man will come out of the Fire crawling. Then Allah, the Blessed and Exalted will say to him: Go and enter Paradise. So he would come to it and it would appear to him as if it were full. He would go back and say: O my Lord! I found it full. Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, would say to him: Go and enter Paradise. He would come and perceive as if it were full. He would return and say: O my Lord! I found it full. Allah would say to him: Go and enter Paradise, for there is for you the like of the world and ten times like it, or for you is ten times the like of this world. He (the narrator) said. He (that man) would say: Art Thou making a fun of me? or Art Thou laughing at me. though Thou art the King? He (the narrator) said: I saw the Messenger of Allah laugh till his front teeth were visible. And it was said: That would be the lowest rank among the inhabitants of Paradise.

Explanation

-Affirmation of Laughing for Allaah, in a manner that suits His Majesty.

They make Ta'weel to mean His bounty.

Abu Bakr as-Soofee makes Tafweed in order to remove deficiency from Allah.

Qaadhee said that the person will only attribute laughing to Allah out of joy, not knowing what he is saying.

TN: all his is Ta'weel, rather he is now a person of Jannah and he himself makes Ithbaat, otherwise why would he talk to Allaah without 'Ilm? Also, bounty doesn't always come with Allaah laughing.
