Chapter – Evidences for the Obligation of Remembering the
Prophet [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be upon him] During the Khutbah (No.
5636):
Allaah, Glorified is His Name, Said:
( وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ )
“And raised high your fame” [ash-Sharh 94:4]
Mujaahid [may Allaah have Mercy on him], “Allaah is not
mentioned except that the Prophet is mentioned with him; so I bear witness that
there is no god worthy of worship except Allaah and I bear witness that
Muahmmad is the Messenger of Allaah.”
Something similar was also reported from Muhammad bin K’ab
and others from the Salaf.
