Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have Mercy on him) said:

They are included amongst the ranks of Kuffar and the Munaafiqoon, to the point that anyone who examines their circumstances would consider them a religion other than that of the Muslims.

For the Muslims who uphold the religion of Islam in the East and West, both previously and now, they are the majority (i.e. mainstream Islam). The Rafidah have no other pursuit than to destroy Islam and undermine its foundations.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have Mercy on him) said:

And likewise, if the Yahood established a country in Iraq or thereabouts, the Raafidah will be the greatest of their supporters. For they always ally with the Kuffaar from the Mushriks, the Yahood and the Christians. They aid them to fight the Muslims and having hatred towards them.

As to what proceeds:

As for the good, then there is no doubt that there is a great deal of apparent good. Even if this doesn’t [completely] put a stop to the Rafidah, the Batiniyyah and the Alawiyyah. And the future is Known to Allah (the Most High).

So it is obligatory upon the Salafis within Syria to be patient, stay in your homes, to make Dua and to cooperate on piety and Taqwa – and to not get involved in armed skirmishes.

As for those [Muslims] who are outside of Syria then it is upon them:

1) to supplicate for them – that Allah unites their assembly, that He brings them together from their differences, that He unites them on one cause and that He protects their lives.

2) To advise, whoever is able to reach them with them their advice - that it is obligatory to stop the spread of harm and to protect human life.

3) To help the needy with donations and support.

Question: There is a course where the students will learn the Athan with a chain of narration going back to Bilal (may Allah be Pleased with him), have you heard of this before?

Shaykh Asim al-Quryuti (may Allah Preserve him): No, by Allah - Allah's Aid is Sought.

TN: this is a course which is being offered where people are told that they can learn to call the Athan just like the way Bilal (may Allah be Pleased with him) used to call it but the claims to have a chain of narration back to him are all lies.

al-Jaami: He Studied Usool at-Thalatha then He Issues His Opinion on People!

You have only studied Usool at-Thalatha then you sit in the corner and issue rulings upon people, "Such and such person is a Taghoot", "Such and such person is a Jaahil", "Such and such person is an innovator", "The one who doesn't make Tabdee' is a Mubtadi' himself!" Fataawa that come out of the window and from the corners of the Masaajid and from houses from those who have still not studied anything whatsoever! Have mercy on the people. Rather, have mercy on yourselves. This is a mistake.

لا يجوز للمسلم أن يكره الحياة وييأس فيما عند الله تعالى من فرجٍ وخير، والواجب عليه أن يصبر على ما يلاقيه من أقدار الله.

It is not permitted for a Muslim to hate life and to despair with what is with Allah (the Most High) from relief and goodness. It is obligatory upon him to be patient with what they meet from the Decrees of Allah.
