Shaykh al-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allaah have Mercy on
him] said:
All forms of Shirk and Bid’ah come from those who lie
against the book. For this reason, all those upon at-Tawheed and as-Sunnah are
the furthest away from Shirk and Bid’ah, as they distance themselves from lies
and the following of them.
Let’s take the Raafidah (Shia), they are from the foremost
in lying and creating fabrications and attributing them to the Book. They are
the worst of those who practice Shirk. So you will not find a nation that are
greater liars and greater followers of fabrications than them. They are from
the furthers of people from at-Tawheed. To the extent, that you will not see
them enter their Masjids in order to worship Allaah Alone and to create unity
in this, rather they make their Masjids around graves and worship other than
Allaah. End quote.
Shaykh Muhammad bin Saaleh al-‘Uthaymeen [may Allaah have Mercy
on him] commented:
The Shaykh’s description of them - may Allaah have Mercy on
him - is factual. They are liars and the followers of their desires and are the
worst of those who practice Shirk. He spoke the truth, may Allaah have Mercy on
him. The Raafidah (Shia) do not united people in the Masjid, never!
