Chapter 39: Virtues of the Last Ten Days of Ramadhaan

Haafidh Ibn Rajab al-Hanbalee (d.795) [May Allaah have Mercy on him] says in his book Lataa'if al-Ma'aarif (Pg. 142-149)
It is mentioned in the Two Saheehs that ‘Aaishah [May Allaah be Pleased with her] said, “The Messenger of Allaah [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be Upon him] would increase even more so in worship during the last ten nights of Ramadhaan, he would fasten is lower garment, stand the night in prayer and he would wake his family up as well.”

In another narration narrated by Imaam Muslim that ‘Aaishah [May Allaah be Pleased with her] said, “The Messenger of Allaah [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be Upon him] strived even harder in the last ten nights more than he would do on the other nights.”
The Prophet [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be Upon him] singled out the last ten nights of Ramadhaan with a range of acts of worship that he wouldn’t do otherwise. Such as:

He would stay up the whole night in prayer.
It was narrated that ‘Aaishah [May Allaah be Pleased with her] said, “The Messenger of Allaah [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be Upon him] would stay up during the night…”

It is also narrated in the Musnad with another wording, “The Messenger of Allaah [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be Upon him] would mix the first twenty nights with Salaat and sleep but when the last ten nights came, he would fasten his lower garment.”
I say: The meaning of these narrations is that the action of the Prophet [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be Upon him] was to stand the night in prayer until morning.

Imaam Shafi’ee [May Allaah have Mercy on him] mentioned in al-Umm that the scholars of Madeenah were of the view that even an hour during the night is sufficient.
It is narrated that Ibn ‘Abbaas [May Allaah be Pleased with him] would stand the night in prayer, beginning with ‘Ishaa in congregation until the people would return to pray Fajr in congregation.

Imaam Maalik [May Allaah have Mercy on him] in his Muwatta’ narrates that it reached him that Ibn Musayyib [May Allaah have Mercy on him] said, “Whoever prays Laylat al-Qadr in congregation then he has gained from the treasures of that night.”
Ash-Shafi’ee [May Allaah have Mercy on him] said, “Whoever prays ‘Ishaa and Fajr prayers on the Laylat al-Qadr then he has gained from the rewards of the night.”

It is also narrated that Aboo Hurayrah [May Allaah be Pleased with him] said, “Whoever prays ‘Ishaa in congregation during the last days of Ramadhaan then he would have stood Laylat al-Qadr.” This was narrated by Aboo Shaykh al-Asbahaanee
So if a person realizes the status of Laylat al-Qadr then it is binding upon him to stand the nights of Ramadhaan in prayer so that he will be sure that he has met that night. From the statement of the scholars is that the person should stand every night of Ramadhaan in prayer. Others added that he should stand half the night of every night in Ramadhaan in prayer. Others, like our companions, said that he should stand at least half the night during the last ten nights in prayer.

Chapter 36: The fasting Person is Happy When He Meets His Lord

Haafidh Ibn Rajab al-Hanbalee (d.795) [May Allaah have Mercy on him] says in his book Lataa'if al-Ma'aarif (Pg. 120-125)

When the fasting person meets his Lord, he will be in a state of happiness because he will find the reward for his fasting, a reward that is preserved with his Lord at a time when he needs his good deeds to be accounted for most. Allaah, the Most High, says:
and whatever good you send before you for yourselves, (i.e. Nawafil non-obligatory acts of worship: prayers, charity, fasting, Hajj and 'Umrah, etc.), you will certainly find it with Allah, better and greater in reward...
[al-Muzammil 73: 20]
And he, the Most High, says:
On the Day when every person will be confronted with all the good he has done, and all the evil he has done, he will wish that there were a great distance between him and his evil…
[Aal-Imraan 3:30]
And he, the Most High, says:
So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it
[az-Zalzalah 99:7]

Ibn ‘Uyaynah said, “The reward for fasting will not be shorthanded or decreased in any way, rather Allaah has preserved it with him for the person who fasts until he enters Jannah.”
It is also narrated in Musnad Ahmad that the Prophet [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be Upon him] said, “There is no deed except that there will be a day where he will be rewarded for it.”
Those who fast are of two levels; those who leave food and drink seeking the reward and Jannah of Allaah, so they act in accordance to what is needed for them to obtain this.
Allaah, the Most High, says:
“Verily! As for those who believe and do righteous deeds, certainly! We shall not suffer to be lost the reward of anyone who does his (righteous) deeds in the most perfect manner”
[al-Kahf 18:30]
Added to this, your deeds will not be lost or spoiled, rather fasting brings about a lucrative profit for the one fasts, as the Prophet [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be Upon him] said, “If you leave something for the sake of Allaah, then Allaah will replace it with something better.” [Narrated by Ahmad in his Musnad] So the one fasts will have his fasting compensated by the reward of being able to eat and drink as much he pleases and as much as time as he wants to spend with women in Jannah.
Allaah, the Most High, says:
“Eat and drink at ease for that which you have sent on before you in days past!”
[al-Haaqah 69:24]
Mujaahid and others stated that this Aayah was revealed about those who fast. Ya’qoob bin Yoosuf al-Hanafee said, “It has reached us that Allaah, the Most High, will Say to His Friends on the Day of Judgment, ‘Oh My Friends! I Looked at you often in the life of the Dunya and I Saw your lips become dry of thirst, your eyes sinking and I Saw your stomachs become dry. So today is your time of bliss, take your glasses and…
“Eat and drink at ease for that which you have sent on before you in days past!”
[al-Haaqah 69:24]”
Hasan al-Basree said, “It will be said to the Friend of Allaah by the Hoor al-‘Ayn, whilst they are laying with them near the rivers of honey, ‘I saw you from far away on a day when you were thirsty and because of this it was said to the Angels, ‘Look at My Slave, he left his wife, he desires, himself, his food and his drink all because of Me, Seeking what is with Me. Bear witness that I have Forgiven him this day’ and then you were made married to me.’”
It has been narrated in the two Saheehs, “Verily, in Jannah there are doors called ar-Rayyaan and this is allocated for those who fast, they will enter through them on the Day of Judgment. None other than them will enter it.”
In another narration it states, “…after they have entered, the doors will be locked behind them.”
In another narration, “Whoever enters through those doors will be given drink, upon drinking they will never be thirsty again.”
In a Hadeeth narrated by Tabraanee and others, on the authority of ‘Abdur-Rahmaan bin Samarah [May Allaah be Pleased with him] that the Prophet [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be Upon him] said about one of his dreams, “I saw a man from my Ummah, his tongue was out due to his extreme thirst and every time he came close to the Hawd (a pool in Jannah) he was denied to drink from it, and this Hawd is exclusive for those who fasted in Ramadhaan.”
It was also narrated that Anas [May Allaah be Pleased with him] said, “Allaah has a banquet table which no eye has seen, no ear has heard or any mind kind imagine and none will sit on it except those who fasted.”

Some of the Salaf used to say, “Those who fasted will be eating from this table whilst others are being accounted for. They will say, ‘Oh Lord! We are being accounted whilst they are sitting to eat?’ It will be said to them, ‘They fasted whilst you are and they stood during the night whilst you slept.’”

It was also narrated that some of the Salaf said that they saw Bashr bin al-Haarith in their dreams and he was sitting in front of a banquet table and he was eating and it was said to him, “Eat! Others have eaten. Drink! Others have drank.”

ISIS: A Self Proclaimed Caliphate

Umar bin al-Khattaab [May Allaah be Pleased with him] said:

If two people who pledge an allegiance with one another without the consultation (i.e. with the scholars), do not pledge an allegiance with either of them, nor should it be given to either of them out of deception, otherwise both of them may be killed.

[Reported by al-Bukhaaree in his Saheeh (6442)]

Ibn Hajar [may Allaah have Mercy on him] said:

Two people who pledge an allegiance with one another: in another narration reported by Maalik it says, 'anyone who follows these two men'

Do no pledge an allegiance with either of them: in another narration it comes with the wording, 'anyone who claims to be the ruler without consultation then it is not allowed for him to be accepted.'

He continued:

I say: the apparent meaning of this narration is the rejection of 'Umar for those who pledge allegiance without consulting the Muslims.

So it is not binding upon the Muslims to pledge an allegiance without consultation.

The Salaf and Qiyaam

Chapter 37: The Virtue of Giving in Charity and Reciting the Quraan in Ramadhaan
Haafidh Ibn Rajab al-Hanbalee (d.795) [May Allaah have Mercy on him] says in his book Lataa'if al-Ma'aarif (Pg. 125-134)

Various Ahadeeth give the recommendation that we should study the Quraan and give importance to memorizing it. In this is also evidence for us to increase in recitation of the Quraan during the month of Ramadhaan.
In the Hadeeth of Faatimah [May Allaah be Pleased with her] that her father [May the Peace and Blessings of Allaah be Upon him] would revise the Quraan with Jibreel [Peace be Upon him] and in the final year of his life, they studied and revised it twice.

Also in the Hadeeth of Ibn ‘Abbaas [May Allaah be Pleased with him], it is stated that they would study and revise the Quraan at night. All of this provides proof for recommendation for us to increase in reciting the Quraan during the night and for us to learn and ponder about the Quraan, in our tongues and hearts.
Allaah, the Most High, says:

Verily, the rising by night (for Tahajjud prayer) is very hard and most potent and good for governing (the soul), and most suitable for (understanding) the Word (of Allah).” [Muzammil 72:6]
Added to this, the month of Ramadhaan has been made a month which is exclusive to the Quraan;

The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur'aan” [al-Baqarah 2:185]
Likewise, Allaah, the Most High, says:

Verily! We have sent it (this Qur'an) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree)” [al-Qadr 97:1]
And

We sent it (this Qur'an) down on a blessed night [(i.e. night of Qadr) in the month of Ramadan…” [ad-Dukhaan 47: 3]
It is also known that the beginning of revelation and Prophethood began in the month of Ramadhaan as it occurred in the Hadeeth of ‘Abeed bin ‘Umayr [May Allaah be Pleased with him].

Also in the Hadeeth reported in al-Musnad on the authority of Waathila bin al-Asqa’ [May Allaah be Pleased with him] that the Prophet [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be Upon him] said, “Verily, the scrolls of Ibraaheem were revealed in the beginning of the month of Ramadhaan. The Tawraah was revealed on the sixth night. The Injeel was was revealed on the thirteenth night of Ramadhaan and the Quraan was revealed on the twenty forth of Ramadhaan.”
It is also narrated that the Prophet [May the Peace and Blessings of Allaah be Upon him] would increase in his recitation during the night prayers more so in Ramadhaan, as he [May the Peace and Blessings of Allaah be Upon him] prayed with Hudayfah [May Allaah be Pleased with him] and he recited Surah al-Baqarah, an-Nisaa and aal-‘Imraan in one Rak’aat, and he would not move on from reciting an Aayah of fear except that he asked to be saved from it, he prayed two Rak’aat until Bilaal came to give the Athaan for Salaah, narrated by Ahmad and Nasaa’ee.

‘Umar bin al-Khattab [May Allaah be Pleased with him] also ordered Ubaay bin Ka’b and Tameem ad-Daaree [May Allaah be Pleased with them both] to lead the people in night prayer during the month of Ramadhaan and the Imaam recited two hundred Ayaat in one Raka’ah, to the extent that some of the followers would lean on sticks due to its length. They would stand and would not move until the time of Fajr neared. In another narration, the people would tie ropes on the pillars of the Masjid and fasten themselves to them so that they may be supported whilst they stood.
It is also narrated that ‘Umar bin al-Khattab [May Allaah be Pleased with him] made it that the Imaams would be divided into three, those who were fast and they would recite thirty Aayaat. Then those who were in neither fast nor slow, they would recite twenty five Aayat. Then those who were slow and they would recite twenty Aayat each.

Then after this, during the time of the Tabi’een, they would complete Surah al-Baqarah in eight Rak’aat and they saw it being recited in twelve Rak’aat as someone who has chosen to be easy and slow.
Ibn Mansoor [May Allaah be Pleased with him] asked Ishaaq bin Rahooyah [May Allaah be Pleased with him], “How many Raka’aat should one pray during the month of Ramadhaan and if one only prays ten Aayaat in one Rak’aat people wouldn’t be happy with this?” He replied, “They would not be happy if you only recite ten Aayat, but if the ten Aayat are long then recite it but if they are small then reciting only ten was disliked by Maalik.”

It was also asked to Imaam Ahmad [May Allaah have Mercy on him] on the narration of ‘Umar bin al-Khattab [May Allaah be Pleased with him] that the people are not able to stand for such a long time so that hundreds of Aayat are prayed in one Rak’aat, he replied, “Pray five, six or seven and finish the Quraan on the twenty seventh night.”
It is narrated that Hasan al-Basree [May Allaah be Pleased with him] said something similar, “’Umar [May Allaah be Pleased with him] ordered the people to pray at night during Ramadhaan and to recite five or six Aayaat.”

The statement of Imaam Ahmad [May Allaah have Mercy on him] is proof that the one who leads the people in prayer should look at the state of those praying behind him in order for them to pray comfortably behind him, without causing any difficulty for them. This was also statement by others from the Fuqahaah such as the companions of Aboo Haneefah [May Allaah have Mercy on him] and other than them.
It is narrated that Aboo Dharr [May Allaah be Pleased with him] said that the Prophet [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be Upon him] stood in prayer for three nights, the twenty third, twenty forth and the twenty fifth night, until mid-night for each night. They said to him, ‘Wouldn’t it be better for us to continue praying for the rest of the night?’ He replied, “If a person stands to pray behind the Imaam and he prays behind him until he finishes then it is written for a whole night of prayer for him.” This was narrated by the authors of the Sunan and at-Tirmidhee classified it has being Hasan.

This narration is proof to suggest that if one stands to pray for a third of the night or half of the night, then it will be written as if he prayed for the whole night, however this standing in prayer must be behind the Imaam.
Imaam Ahmad [May Allaah have Mercy on him] took this Hadeeth and held the view that if one prays behind the Imaam then he should not leave until the Imaam finishes and leaves. Some of the Salaf also said that ‘the one who stands behind the Imaam until midnight will be as if he prayed the whole night.’

The Salaf and the Intercession from the Quraan

The Quraan intercedes for the one who prevents himself from sleeping because he would prefer to recite the Quraan instead. So the one who recites it, stands in prayer with it, then he has fulfilled what is needed for the Quraan to intercede for him. It is narrated that the Prophet [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be Upon him] mentioned a man and said about him, “This man doesn’t make the Quraan a pillow” meaning he doesn’t sleep the night whilst neglecting the recitation of the Quraan.

It also narrated by Imaam Ahmad in his Musnad that the Prophet [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be Upon him] said, “The Quraan will split the grave of a person and will be eager to meet a person on the Day of Judgment and it will say to him, ‘Do you know me? I am your companion, the one you recited in seclusion making your lips dry, the one who kept you up during the night, all forms of trade has profit so today receive your reward’ and then a crown of veneration will be placed on him and then it will be said to him, ‘Recite and ascend to your place in Jannah.’”
There is also a similar narration that was narrated on the authority of ‘Ubaadah bin Saamit [May Allaah be Pleased with him].

Ibn Mas’ood [May Allaah be Pleased with him] said, “It is binding upon the one who recites the Quraan to recite it during the night whilst people are asleep, to recite it during the day whilst the people are eating, to cry over it whilst the people are laughing, to be secluded with it whilst the people are socialising, to be mannered with it whilst the people are cavorting, to be humbled by it whilst the people dispute over it, to be sorrowed by it whilst the people are rejoicing.”
Muhammad bin Ka’b [May Allaah have Mercy on him] said, “We used to recognize the recitor of the Quraan by the paleness of his skin. His skin colour would indicate that he was a person who had late nights and was industrious.”

Wuhayb bin al-Ward [May Allaah have Mercy on him] was asked by a man, “Don’t you sleep?” He replied by saying, “From the wonders of the Quraan is that it makes my sleep and slumbers disappear.”
This is the month of the Quraan, Oh Slave of Allaah, it is the month in which it was revealed and the month when the worshippers listen to it. This is the Book of Allaah, recite it and make it manifest, listen to the Quraan, the Book which had it been revealed upon a mountain, you would see the mountain crumble in humility. Based on this, we need to make our hearts humbled, our eyes filled with tears, and do not fast Ramadhaan whilst falling into Haraam so that your fasting will benefit you.

Leave the darkness of sins because darkness prevents you from seeing or hearing. Recite the Aayaat of the Quraan and prevent your hearts from being like rocks or even harder than rocks.
How many people have recited the Quraan in the month of Ramadhaan yet their state and mindset is still like those who commit sins. A youth recites it yet he still has passion, the old man recites it yet he still can’t restrain his evil traits.

Where do we stand? Are from those who listen to the Caller of Allaah and respond to him; so that when we hear the Aayat of Allaah their hearts soften and struck with fear. When they fast, they fast with their tongues and eyes. Aren’t these people an example for us?
The difference between us and them is that they are a degree far above us and there is No Strength or Might except with Allaah, and Allaah is Sufficient for us.

Chapter 37: The Virtue of Giving in Charity and Reciting the Quraan in Ramadhaan from Lataa'if al-Ma'aarif (Pg. 125-134) by Haafidh Ibn Rajab al-Hanbalee (d.795) [May Allaah have Mercy on him]

The Salaf Sought for their Deeds to be accepted by Having Taqwaa

It is from the practice of the Salaf as-Saalih to strive to make their deeds as perfect as possible, upon completion, they would seek for it to be accepted from them and they were always in a state of fear that their deeds would be rejected. These are the ones referred to:

Verily! Those who live in awe for fear of their Lord;” [Mu’minoon 23:57]
It is also narrated from ‘Alee bin Abee Taalib [May Allaah be Pleased with him] that he said, “Seek to make your deeds accepted, have you not heard the statement of Allaah, the Glorified and the Exalted, Verily, Allah accepts only from those who are Al-Muttaqun’ [Maaidah 5: 27].”

Fudaalah bin ‘Ubayd said, “If I knew that Allaah has accepted from me even a minute atom’s weight of good deeds, this is more beloved to me than the whole world and all it contains. As he says; Verily, Allah accepts only from those who are Al-Muttaqun’ [Maaidah 5: 27]
Ibn Deenaar said, “To fear that your deed will not be accepted is more difficult than doing the act itself.”

‘Ataa said, “One should be cautious that his deeds are not for Allaah.”
‘Abdul-‘Azeez bin Abee Ruwaad said, “You strive to do good deeds but upon completion, you should be worried on whether it will be accepted or not.”

Others from the Salaf used to supplicate to Allaah for six months that Allaah gives them life so that they will be alive for the forthcoming Ramadhaan. Once Ramadhaan was completed and over, they would then supplicate to Allaah for the rest of the year that Allaah accept their deeds.
‘Umar bin ‘Abdul-‘Azeez once went out on the day of ‘Eid al-Fitr and said in his Khutbah, “Oh People! You have fasted for thirty days and you have stood for thirty nights. You have now left your homes this morning hoping that Allaah accepts it all from you.”

Some of the Salaf would also show sadness on the day of ‘Eid al-Fitr and they would explain their sadness was due to them being afraid. They would say, “I am slave and I have been ordered by my Master to do certain deeds and I am not sure if I have done them so that they may be accepted by Him.”
Wahb saw some people laughing on the day of ‘Eid al-Fitr and he said, “If these people have had their deeds accepted then this is not the behavior of those who are thankful and if they don’t know if their deeds have been accepted then this is not the behavior of those who fear that their deeds are not accepted.”

Hasan al-Basree used to say, “Verily, Allaah has made the month of Ramadhaan an arena or stadium for his creation, in which they can compete with one another to do good deeds and seek His Pleasure.”
These are the generations that came before us and they have succeeded and those who came after them have become spoilt and have become involved in idleness, laughing and playing. So the day will come that the successful will receive their rewards and those who are losers will be falsified.

What have you lost if you have lost the benefits of Ramadhaan? What else is that can stop you from being deprived? How many people have had their deeds accepted and their sins forgiven? And how mant are there that have not gained anything except wretchedness and misery? So people stood and have not got anything from this except a sleepless night and some people fasted and got nothing except thirst and hunger.
The month of Ramadhaan is filled and is a means for us to the Forgiveness and Mercy from Allaah. In it we fast and in it we stand during the night. In it we feed the poor and in it we share our wealth by remembering others. In it we remember Allaah, as it appears in the Hadeeth, “The Dhikr of Allaah in Ramadhaan is a cause of forgiveness for you.” In it, we seek forgiveness in Allaah and we seek His Mercy. We supplicate to Him, whilst we fast and at the time of breaking our fast. Because of this, Ibn ‘Umar [May Allaah be Pleased with him] used to feed the poor and say, “Oh Allaah! Oh the One Who is Vast in Mercy! Forgive me!”

Also in the Hadeeth of Aboo Hurayrah [May Allaah be Pleased with him] in talking about the virtues of Ramadhaan, it states that Allaah Forgives everyone except for the one who is too proud.
So it was asked, “Oh Abaa Hurayrah! How is the one who is too proud?” He replied, “The one who is too proud to ask Allaah to Forgive him.”

Also in this month, the Angels ask for forgiveness for those who fast until evening.
So there are many various ways one can gain the Forgiveness and the Mercy of Allaah during this month. Therefore, the one who isn’t forgiven during this month is the one who is prevented and deprived.

On the authority of Aboo Hurayrah [May Allaah be Pleased with him] that the Prophet [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be Upon him] was on his Mimbar and he said, “Ameen, Ameen, Ameen.” It was asked, “Oh Messenger of Allaah! Why did you say Ameen, Ameen, Ameen.” He [Peace and Blessings of Allaah be Upon him] replied, “Jibreel came down and supplicated thrice and said, ‘Whoever reaches Ramadhaan and is not forgiven, may he enter the fire. Whoever has old parents and doesn’t enter Jannah by looking after them, may he enter the fire and whoever hears my name being mentioned and doesn’t sent Salaat upon me, may he enter the fire.’ So I replied each time by saying Ameen.”
This was narrated by Imaam Ahmad, at-Tirmidhee and Ibn Hibbaan. Ibn Hibbaan’s narration has the wording, “May he be disgraced.”

The Hadeeth have been classified as being Good or Hasan by at-Tirmidhee.
It is also narrated that Qataadah said, “Whoever is not forgiven within Ramadhaan then he will not be forgiven outside of it.”

In another narration, it says, “If one doesn’t become pious within Ramadhaan then when will he become pious? If he is not cured this month from ignorance, negligence and all forms of sickness, then when will he seek a cure? Everyone’s wealth are grown on trees and the season comes for us to pick the fruits off the trees as they ripen, if you don’t pick them, then they will fall and be wasted. If one harvests his crops and doesn’t pull them out of the ground when the time for harvest comes, he will be overcome with regret and severe loss.”
Taken from Chapter 42: Saying Farewell to Ramadhaan in Lataa'if al-Ma'aarif (Pg. 160-169) by Haafidh Ibn Rajab al-Hanbalee (d.795) [May Allaah have Mercy on him]

Islaamic Caliphate in Iraq (ISIS).

Shaykh Saaleh bin Sa'd as-Suhaymee [May Allaah Preserve him] said about them:

"Evil (sins and disobedience of Allah, etc.) has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of men have earned (by oppression and evil deeds, etc.), that Allah may make them taste a part of that which they have done, in order that they may return (by repenting to Allah, and begging His Pardon)." [ar-Room 30:41]

Corruption spreads when there is negligence and exaggeration.

Negligence is when the people of deviation and and secularists leave the practicing of their religions. They are callers to evil and corruption .

Exaggeration is similar to the way of the Khwaarij (a sect in Islaam that believes in the obligation of killing other Muslims) and those like them.

Today, some of the foolish in Iraq have announced that they have established an Islamic caliphate. This has been their nature for eight years now, we know about them in detail!

They have given a hidden allegiance to a caliph in supporting their false and corrupt methodology. All of them have given a hidden allegiance to an unknown caliph!

As a result, today they have announced that they have established a caliphate and have permitted by it, the killing of those who differ from them. This is similar to the beliefs of the Raafidah (Shi'ah) who claim such things for the Mahdee.

So they claim that the newly established caliphate is for all Muslims from around the world, and this has been established after they have killed and slaughtered many lives from the Muslims brothers  that are present there in Iraq. This doesn't mean that we support the Raafidah there in Iraq, no! We say both parties are both misguided and intend no good for the Muslim Ummah.

So it is upon us to warn against both of these misguided parties there in Iraq. You have the Raafidah opposition, all of them have the intent of spreading evil. All of them are misguided, and all of them are at war with Ahl as-Sunnah wa al-Jamaa'ah (mainstream Islaam).

So be warned and do not give ISIS your allegiance! The caliph who claims to be in charge is a Dajjaal (an impostor), a liar, and a caller to evilness and falsehood.

They have slaughtered Muslims in Syria and not they have taken their slaughtering to Iraq. They are oppressors who are supported by the oppressors in Syria because they want the oil from them.

So I ask Allaah, the Most High and Exalted, that He Makes His Religion uppermost and that He Aids the Religion and debases the people of evil and innovation and desires, and anyone else who opposes this religion.

They are impostors and be warned from joining them!
